Is it possible to create a GlobalPC like solution for the testing of Ensemble? It is both time consuming and nagging to install the apps that is third party and not part of Ensemble, like for example Rainers apps, and all other good developer here. I think of having a type.of GEOS2000 folder for the third party apps including the necessary help files and so on, with the pointers in geos.ini in the ensemble folder?

You may simply store any additional file in a "shadow" tree (like addfiles/system/.. to hold any rbasic library etc) and then use the [path] section in the geos.ini to link it to your actual ensemble. Or simply copy it over by using xcopy. This can all dony by a script - so only on commnad on the command line ist required.

Yes, I think so. Have a look on the geos.ini - e.g. R-BASIC has it's own kategory. You may write these kategories to a separate file and add it to the clean geos.ini with xcopy.
