It is my pleasure to announce that I have found a new distribution of PC / Geos. NB-80c prototype that I got from Frank Fisher. After the review and usage of the machine I can say that this is quite different than a regular NB-80c.
Here's how it differs from regular NB-80c
1. It has a different GUI.
2. It has the brother presentation software included in ROM.
3. It has a web browser that is different from the regular Geobook web browser it is like Skipper. Again this is loaded in ROM.
4. The NB-80c has a drive preference module in preferences.
5. It therefore has an advanced video module that you can change to your liking.
6. It has a different demonstration software included when invoking the built in demo
7. It is 486 based and faster than other NB-80c's.
8. The email software is preloaded into the device as well as the web browser.
I wish I can take the ROM and somehow so that we can see the differences between the normal NB-80c and the prototype NB - 80c.
