Ich habe beim Aufräumen diesen kaum benutzten NOKIA-Schatz wiedergefunden.
Durch die Kaum-Nutzung sieht der Communicator (ohne Gebrauchsspuren) aus wie neu.
Beim Ausprobieren, Anfang Oktober 2012, liefen alle Funktionen brillant wie ein Glöckchen!
Als ich jetzt die Gerätschaft starten wollte lädt sich der Akku nicht auf, so daß ich davon ausgehe, dass dieser repariert oder ersetzt werden muß, weshalb ich "vorsichtshalber" diese optische NOKIA-Delikatesse leider als defekt anbieten muss!

Warum X10?
Home Automation macht Wohnen angenehmer, komfortabler, spart Energie und sorgt für zusätzliche Sicherheit bei An- und auch bei Abwesenheit. Für den einen ist Home Automation die Regulierung der Beleuchtung mit derselben Fernbedienung womit der Fernseher bedient wird, für den anderen ist es ein vollständig vom Rechner gesteuertes System, das sich an die eigenen Lebensgewohnheiten anpasst.Wie funktioniert X-10 ?
Aufbau des Systems
Für die Steuerung von Beleuchtung und Geräten wird von Befehlen, die über das Stromnetz gesendet werden (mithilfe des X-10 Signals), Gebrauch gemacht. Pro Schaltpunkt wird ein Empfänger genutzt, der die Befehle empfängt und sie daraufhin durchführt. Diese Empfänger nennt man "Module". Die Befehle werden von Controller auf das Stromnetz übertragen. Da den Modulen eine Adresse zugewiesen werden kann, können die Module unabhängig voneinander betrieben werden.
1. Controller
Diese übertragen eine Adresse und einen Befehl auf das Stromnetz für die Betreibung der Module. Es gibt u.a. Controller in Form von Schaltuhren, PC Interfaces, universellen Sendern und Alarmgeräten/Alarmanlagen.
2. Drahtlose Controller
Drahtlose Controller senden ein Signal zu einem zentralen Empfänger, der die Signale in das X-10 Signal auf dem Stromnetz umwandelt. Drahtlose Controller gibt es in Form von Fernbedienungen, fernbedienten Schaltern, Sensoren usw. Als zentraler Empfänger kann ein TM13 Transceivermodul oder die Zentrale eines Alarmsystems/Alarmanlage (Protector 28, SafeGuard, TotalGuard) genutzt werden.
3. Module
Module bedienen Beleuchtung und Geräte. Es gibt 4 verschiedene Typen: SteckerModule, UnterputzModule, MicroModule und DIN-Schienen Module für Schienenmontage. Die Module empfangen die Befehle von dem Controller über das Stromnetz.
4. Adressen
Mittels zwei Coderädchen können bis zu maximal 256 verschiedene Adressen eingerichtet werden. Diese sind in einen s.g. Hauscode (A bis einschl. P) und Unitcode (1 bis einschl.16) untergliedert. Der Hauscode kann auch auf die Controller eingestellt werden, so dass Controller und Module daraufhin ein und demselben System angehören. Das X-10 System enthält reguläre Befehle, wobei alle Units innerhalb des gleichen Hauscode zugleich gesteuert werden (z.B. sämtliche Beleuchtung an, alles ausschalten, usw.)
