I would pay $200 for the laptop if the computers was using a via 486 clone and a better screen with higher resolution, at least 800x600 64k colors. Is it possible to make the English Geoworks2.0 manuals downloadable at the download page here at Geos Infobase? I guess it is Falk who is the owner of the rights to the manuals, and it needs to be approved by him? When I worked for Breadbox, Frank sent a set of manuals for scanning to PDFs.I think it will be a good addition to the download section, if Falk approves? Greetings, Hans

Hi Jörg, It is a Geos-file, belonging to the last project at Breadbox, to create a PDF-printer in Geos. I can't recall if it is the geodes or the systemfile? We made it to work at Breadbox, but it relies on the DOS Ghostscript converter. The idea was to create a "draft" PDF-printer that will create "true" PDF-files with the DOS software that would be editable in a PDF editor like Adobe Acrobat. Well, what is the future for Geos? The near future points to a life in emulators. What happens later on? I guess the X86 and x64 platforms decline and I think the risc CPUs will emerge, like in Raspberry Pis. Apple is moving away, and it is possible to run Geos in a Raspberry Pi with DOSBox emulation, even with Wi-Fi internet access in modem emulation. I am sorry not being able to attend. I am also sorry for Locke, not being able to attend. I find the meeting truly inspiring. I wonder if the Zoom-meeting can be announced with a time and date for us who is not able to attend? I would also wish for a brief summary in the Zoom of were we are today regarding FreeGeos, if it is possible. I wish for a great and productive meeting!

I am sorry to say, but I will not come this year, as I have job activities on both Friday November 11 and Monday 13 November I have to attend, so that gives very little time to participate in the meeting.

I would advice the use of Jörg's Monitoreinstellungen, for the settings of the screen size. Very nice job done! I have to say, even if I am a Ubuntu user. A bit off topic, regarding ISUI/Moif interface and its beauty, one thing I have noticed is, or it is the feeling I get, if you prefer to use Ensemble on an Android tablet with DOSBox Turbo, using Motif interface is recommended, because the touch screen drivers integrates better with Motif than with ISUI.
