Information about using NewDeal with Linux

NewDeal does not officially support using NewDeal software with Linux. However, some customers have had success by running NewDeal in a DOS box using the shareware DOS emulator DosEmu under Linux. Here are some tips, provided by customers who are using Linux:

SCO Unix MERGE DOS emulator

A customer has reported success using this program with early versions of NewDeal software. SCO is an acronym for Santa Cruz Operation, a Unix vendor. MERGE is a full screen DOS emulation that runs on SCO Unix.
